Kasper Sandal
Specialist Engineer Hydrodynamics
Welcome to Kasper Sandal, Specialist Engineer Hydrodynamics, who joined us in June!
Working out of our main office in Lysaker, Kasper works on hydrodynamical and structural analyses. Kasper has over the years gained valuable experience in aero-hydro-servo-elastic analyses of offshore wind turbines.
Kasper earned a PhD from DTU (Danish Technical University) in Design Optimization of Jacket Structures for Mass Production.
Besides his interest for offshore wind, Kasper enjoys running and spending quality time with family and friends.
Hilde Nordvik
Structural Engineer
Welcome to Hilde Nordvik, Structural Engineer, who joined us in August!
Working out of our main office in Lysaker, Hilde works in our structural analysis department. With her background as a Mechanical Engineer from NTNU and 4 years of experience, Hilde has been gaining a broad knowledge in structural analyses in the offshore industry as well as onshore industry.
In her spare time, Hilde enjoys skiing, hiking and traveling around the world.
Bogdan Iwanowski
Principal Engineer
Welcome to Bogdan Iwanowski, Principal Engineer, who joined us in October!
Bogdan is educated as Naval Architect, at Technical University of Szczecin, Poland, M.Sc. in 1987.
He obtained title Doctor of Engineering in fluid-structure interaction at Hiroshima University, Japan, Ph.D in 1993.
He worked several years at Universities before moving to oil and gas industry.
Bogdan has a work experience of 30+ years, with projects in structural mechanics, hydrodynamics, CFD, fluid-structure interaction, marine operations and others.
In his free time, Bogdan watches exotic sports.
Ged Etherington
Designer
Welcome to Ged Etherington, Designer, who joined us back in June!
Ged has over fifty years of experience in Structural, Civil and Architectural Engineering.
He has worked for Semar as both a consultant and an employee over a twenty-six years period as a structural designer in Oslo office. Ged has a broad international experience where he worked for companies in Scotland, The Netherlands, Indonesia and Singapore. He has worked in consultant’s offices, fabrication sites, and offshore in the North Sea.
My interests are keeping fit, playing various musical instruments, singing, photography, and supporting my local football team, Middlesbrough FC.
