Decommissioning of Veslefrikk B

The Veslefrikk field was developed with a jacket platform, Veslefrikk A (VFA) and a floating production unit, Veslefrikk B (VFB). Production stopped and decommissioning of the field started. Semar contributed to the removal of VFB along with DOF Subsea performing the following four campaigns.

• Removal of flexible hoses and cables between VFA and VFB and transport to shore
• Disconnection of VFB at offshore site and tow to thruster removal site
• Retrieval of mooring lines
• Tow to disposal site
